Double edge saw has cross cut teeth on one side and rip cut teeth on the other. With very thin blade and edges on rip cut teeth you can make very clean cuts. Used to cut though particle board (OSB), MDF panel, general timber, bamboo material, laminated wood, and composite wood panel.
